(BIRMINGHAM, AL) - The Butler Bulldogs were the final Indiana team to be eliminated in the NCAA Tournament, falling to the second-seeded Tennessee Volunteers 76-71 in overtime.
Wayne Chism led the Vols with 16 points with Tyler Smith adding 15 and JaJuan Smith finishing with eleven, including four free throws in the final 14 seconds of overtime.
AJ Graves and Mike Green closed out their college careers by leading Butler in scoring with 21 and 15 points, respectively.
The Bulldogs never led in regulation and had a brief two-point advantage in overtime, but Tennessee responded with a 6-0 run to get the win and advance to the Sweet-16.
Butler finishes the season with a 30-4 record.
