(ANN ARBOR, MI) - The 15th-ranked Purdue Boilermakers claimed sole possession of second place in the Big Ten with a 72-58 win at Michigan.
Keaton Grant and E'Twaun Moore led the Boilers with 17 points apiece with Robbie Hummel adding eleven.
Michigan led at halftime and was within five points with five minutes remaining before Purdue closed the game on a 13-4 run.
Deshawn Sims led Michigan with a game-high 19 points as the Wolverines finish the regular season at 9-and-21, 5-and-13 in conference play.
Purdue improves to 24-and-7, 15-and-3 in the Big Ten. They will open play in the Big Ten tournament Friday evening against the winner of the first-round game between Penn State and Illinois.
