(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts will have five prime time games in 2008 according to the NFL schedule released on Tuesday.
The Colts open the season with a "Sunday Night Football" game against the Chicago Bears at Lucas Oil Stadium on September 7th. The Colts' game with New England on November 2nd and at San Diego on November 23rd will also be part of NBC's Sunday night package. The San Diego game is subject to flex scheduling.
The horseshoes will travel to Tennessee on October 27th for a Monday night game with the Titans while their December 18th game at Jacksonville is a Thursday night contest.
The regular season concludes on December 28th with the Colts hosting Tennessee.
Following the Chicago game, September's schedule consists of a game at Minnesota on the 14th and a home game with Jacksonville on the 21st before the bye week on the 28th.
The Colts open October with a game in Houston followed by a home game against Baltimore before road games at Green Bay and Tennessee.
November begins with the Sunday night game at home against the Patriots followed by a game at Pittsburgh, a home game with Houston, the Sunday nighter at San Diego and a game at Cleveland.
The Colts open December by hosting Cincinnati and Detroit before their Thursday night game in Jacksonville and the season finale against the Titans.
