(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Indianapolis Northwest High School’s Larretha Draughon is being replaced on the Indiana girls all-star basketball team following her arrest.
The 18-year-old Draughon faces five felony charges in connection with a botched armed robbery at a Westside Indianapolis restaurant. She was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery, robbery and three counts of criminal confinement.
Draughon averaged 20 points and 13 rebounds for the Space Pioneers as a senior and was planning to play at Vincennes Junior College.
Indiana all-star officials are working on finding a replacement.
Another member of the Indiana girls team will be unable to participate due to a college commitment. Brownsburg's Lauren Taylor is required to be on campus at the University of New Mexico on June 9th and will be unavailable for the two games with the Kentucky all-stars.
She has been replaced on the roster by Maconaqua's Deja Mattox.
