(PHILADELPHIA, PA) - The Indiana Pacers return to action tonight when they face the 76ers in Philadelphia.
The Pacers staved off elimination from the playoff race Wednesday with a 112-98 win over the Atlanta Hawks at Conseco Fieldhouse. An Atlanta win would have clinched the eighth and final Eastern Conference playoff spot for the Hawks. Instead, the Pacers are two games behind Atlanta with four games remaining and now hold the tiebreaker advantage over the Hawks should the two teams finish the season tied.
Following tonight's game in Philadelphia, Indiana will host Charlotte on Saturday night, travel to Washington on Monday and wrap up the season at home against New York on Wednesday.
The Hawks are also back on the court tonight when they face the Knicks in New York City. They will then play a pair of home games against playoff teams when they host Boston on Saturday and Orlando on Tuesday. They close out their regular season against the worst team in the NBA, the Miami Heat, on Wednesday night in South Florida.
