(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana Pacers face a must-win situation tonight as they host the Atlanta Hawks.
A Pacer win will leave the blue-and-gold two games behind the eighth-place Hawks with four games remaining for both teams. An Indiana loss will mean elimination for the Pacers as Atlanta will clinch at least a tie for the eighth and final playoff berth while locking up the tiebreaker for the Hawks.
The teams split their two earlier meetings this season.
The Pacers are winding up the season playing some of their best basketball of the year. They enter tonight's game having won two straight and eight of their last eleven games to keep their dwindling playoff hopes alive.
Atlanta is also playing well down the stretch, having won six of their last seven games.
