(MILWAUKEE, WI) - The Indiana Pacers are in Milwaukee tonight to open a home-and-home series with the Bucks.
The Pacers are coming off a 92-77 loss in Boston Wednesday night that may have done in their playoff hopes. The blue-and-gold are 31-and-44 and tied with New Jersey for ninth place in the East. They are four games behind the eighth-place Atlanta Hawks with seven games remaining for all three teams.
The Bucks are 26-and-48 and are out of the playoff chase. They enter tonight's game having won two in a row.
The teams have split their previous two meetings this season with the Bucks pulling out a 104-92 win in Milwaukee on January 24th and Indiana evening the series with a 128-106 victory in Indianapolis on March 2nd. The Pacers and Bucks wrap up the season series Sunday evening at Conseco Fieldhouse.
Following the two games with Milwaukee, the Pacers will host the Hawks on Tuesday night. Indiana and Atlanta have split their two previous games and Tuesday's winner will take the season series and the first tiebreaker should they finish the season deadlocked for the eighth and final playoff berth in the Eastern Conference.
