(WASHINGTON, DC) - The Indiana Pacers will try to stave off elimination tonight as they play their final road game of the regular season against the Wizards in Washington, D.C.
The Pacers have taken two of three from the Wizards so far this season, winning both games at Conseco Fieldhouse while losing their first matchup with the Wizards at the Verizon Center.
The Pacers saw their four-game winning streak halted on Saturday night when they lost to the Charlotte Bobcats 107-103 at the Fieldhouse. The blue-and-gold remain two games behind the Atlanta Hawks for the eighth and final playoff berth in the east.
Indiana must win out and hope Atlanta loses its final two games for the Pacers to reach the playoffs. The Hawks missed an opportunity to clinch when they lost to Boston on Saturday night. If the Pacers win tonight, Atlanta will have chances to clinch on Tuesday when they host Orlando and Wednensday in Miami.
The Pacers wrap up the regular season at home on Wednesday night against the New York Knicks.
