(WEST LAFAYETTE) - Next month’s Purdue Grand Prix will be the last on the track that’s been the home of the go-kart race for 40 years.
The track will be wiped out by the renovation and expansion of Mackey Arena, the basketball home of the Boilermakers.
A new track being built for next year's race will be the fifth in the grand prix's 50-year history.
