(UNDATED) - Former Indiana University basketball coach Kelvin Sampson could wind up as an assistant coach for the Milwaukee Bucks.
ESPN.com quotes an unidentified NBA source as saying that the Bucks are discussing the assistant coach's opening at the urging of new Milwaukee head coach Scott Skiles.
Sampson resigned from IU in February in the midst of an NCAA investigation into five major recruiting violations. Sampson accepted a $750,000 buyout from the university in exchange for his resignation.
Sampson also waived his right to seek further damages from Indiana.
