(COLUMBUS, OH) - The Columbus Clippers completed a sweep of their two-game series with Indianapolis, defeating the Indians 5-3.
Both teams scored three runs in the first inning. The Tribe got a two-run homer from Kevin Thompson, his second of the season, in the opening frame while the Clippers would tie the game on jason dubois' two-run double in the bottom of the first.
Ryan Langerhans drove home the eventual winning run with an RBI groundout in the fourth. The Indians have lost three in a row and will have today off.
The Tribe returns home to open a four-game series with the Louisville Bats Tuesday night at Victory Field.
