(UNCASVILLE, CT) - Katie Douglas scored a game-high 23 points in her return to Connecticut as the Indiana Fever defeated the Sun 75-46.
The former Purdue star, who played five seasons in Connecticut, scored 14 points in the first half as the fever built a double-digit lead they would never relinquish.
Indiana outscored the sun 28-11 in the first quarter and increased their advantage to 22 at halftime. Connecticut would get as close as 16 early in the third before the Fever outscored the sun 11-3 in the fourth quarter to complete the rout. Tan White added 15 points as the Fever improve to 2-and-1.
Lindsay Whalen was the only Connectucut player to reach double figures with 13 points as the sun fall to 3-and-1.
The Fever return home to face the Los Angeles Sparks on Thursday night.
