(UNCASVILLE, CT) - Katie Douglas makes her return to Connecticut tonight as the Indiana Fever are on the road to take on the Sun.
The former Purdue star and Indianapolis native was traded to her hometown team after spending seven seasons with the Sun franchise.
The Fever will try to avoid their first 1-and-2 start since 2004 but will be shorthanded as perennial all-star forward Tamika Catchings remains sidelined with an achilles injury suffered during last season's playoffs. There is no timetable for Catchings' return.
Connecticut is off to a 3-and-0 start, including two wins at the Mohegan Sun Arena. The Sun have won the last four regular season games with the Fever, but Indiana eliminated Connecticut in the first round of the playoffs last year.
