(RICHMOND, VA) - Bryan Bullington picked up his first win in six decisions this season, throwing seven strong innings as the Indianapolis Indians edged the Richmond Braves 2-1.
The former Ball State star and #1 overall draft pick allowed a run on seven hits to improve to 1-and-5.
Michel Hernandez put the Tribe on the board with an RBI single in the first with Andrew McCutcheon driving home the second run with a single in the second.
Scott Thorman drove in Richmond's only run with an RBI double in the sixth.
The Indians return home to open an eight-game homestand. They begin a four-game set with the Scranton / Wilkes-Barre Yankees tonight at Victory Field.
