(ALLENTOWN, PA) - The Lehigh Valley Ironpigs scored five runs in their final two innings at bat to defeat the Indianapolis Indians 8-5 in the finale of their four-game series in Allentown.
The Ironpigs scored twice in the seventh to take a 5-3 lead before the Tribe's Craig Wilson tied the game with a pinch-hit, two-run homer.
Rich Thompson hit a two-run single in the bottom of the eighth to give Lehigh Valley the lead for good as the Ironpigs took three of four games in the series.
The Indians are back at Victory Field tonight to open a four-game series with the Toledo Mud Hens.
