(RICHMOND, VA) - Kevin Thompson’s two-run double in the seventh put Indianapolis up for good as the Indians defeated the Richmond Braves 7-1.
Raul Chavez went 2-for-4 with three runs batted in support of tribe starter Luis Munoz. Munoz allowed a run on four hits over six innings to improve to 2-and-0 and snap Richmond's winning streak at four games.
Game three of the four-game series is tonight in Richmond.
