(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) The Scranton / Wilkes-Barre Yankees swept a doubleheader in Indianapolis, defeating the Indians 2-1 in ten innings in the opener and 5-2 in the nightcap.
Eric Duncan drove home the winning run in game one with an RBI single in tenth. Matt Kata drove in the Tribe's lone run with his second home run of the season.
Steve Pearce hit a solo home run for Indianapolis in game two, but it was not enough as the Yankees won for the eleventh time in their last 13 games.
The Indians open a four-game series with the Richmond Braves tonight at Victory Field.
