(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - It’s Carb Day at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the final day of practice for Sunday’s 92nd running of the Indianapolis 500.
The 33 teams will have one hour this morning to shake down their cars and get ready for Sunday's race.
The day's activities also include the Freedom 100 Firestone Indy Lights Series race as well as the annual pit stop competition.
Rookie Dillon Battistini has the pole for today's Freedom 100 Indy Light's race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The Panther Racing driver turned in a two-lap average of 188.397 miles per hour.
James Davison of Sam Schmidt Motorsports was second-quick at 188.390 and will start on the outside of row one.
The pole winner has won four of the previous five Freedom 100s.
