(NORFOLK, VA) - The Indianapolis Indians scored four runs in the top of the ninth to halt a five-game losing streak with a 5-2 win over the Norfolk Tides.
Andrew McCutcheon gave the Tribe a 1-0 lead with a solo homer in the fifth.
Norfolk tied the game in the seventh before McCutcheon gave the Indians the lead for good when he drew a bases-loaded walk in the ninth. Neil walker followed with a two-run single.
The Tides have lost two in a row heading to game two of the four-game series tonight at Harbor Park.
