(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) John Halama pitched seven strong innings to lead the Buffalo Bisons past the Indianapolis Indians 3-1.
Halama allowed a run on three hits over seven innings to improve to 7-and-1. Jason Tyner put the Bisons on the board with a two-run double in the second with Jordan Brown making it 3-0 Buffalo with a run-scoring single in the third.
The Tribe's lone run came on Carlos Maldonado's second home run of the season in the bottom of the third.
John Van Benschoten took the loss to fall to 7-and-2.
The Tribe and the Bisons play game three of the four-game set this afternoon at Victory Field.
