(ATLANTA, GA) - The Indiana Fever are in Atlanta this evening to face the expansion Dream.
The Fever fell to 4-and-3 on Wednesday when they lost to the San Antonio Silver Stars. The loss dropped Indiana to 1-and-2 away from Conseco Fieldhouse this season.
The Dream lost at home to New York on Wednesday to fall to 0-and-8 in their inaugural WNBA season.
The Fever announced Thursday that all-star forward Tamika Catchings is expected to return to the team Sunday when the fever return home for a rematch with San Antonio. Catchings has missed the entire season with an achilles tendon injury suffered in last season's playoffs.
Head Coach Lin Dunn expects Catchings to play limited minutes at first, but says she is excited to have the team's leader back in uniform.
Catchings missed 13 regular season games last year with a foot injury but returned in time for the playoffs. She tore her right achilles tendon during the decisive third game of the eastern conference semifinals against Detroit. She returned to practice earlier this month.
