(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) Andrew McCutchen’s two-run single in the bottom of the eighth gave the Indianapolis Indians a 3-2 win over the Buffalo Bisons.
Buffalo jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first on Asdrubal Cabrera's solo home run. The Indians tied the game in the second when Josh Wilson singled home Adam Boeve. That would be all of the scoring until McCutchen's big hit with two out in the eighth.
Cabrera would add an RBI single for the Bisons in the ninth, but the rally fell one run short.
Game two of the four-game series is tonight at Victory Field.
