(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indianapolis Indians snapped a three-game losing streak with a 4-3 win over the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs on Wednesday afternoon.
Catcher Carlos Maldonado delivered a two-run single up the middle with two outs in the bottom of the eighth inning, leading to the victory.
Maldonado was 2-for-4 and outfielder Andrew McCutcheon went 3-for-4 as the Indians improved their record to 29-and-32 on the season.
After splitting the first two games of the series, the teams meet again tonight at Victory Field in Indianapolis.
