(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indianapolis Indians struggled against left-handed pitcher J.A. Happ in a 9-5 home loss to the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs.
The Lehigh Valley starter struck out 10 and gave up just five hits in seven-and-two-thirds innings as the Iron Pigs won the third game of the four-game series.
The Indians managed three home runs in the final two innings, as Carlos Maldonado, Andrew McCutcheon, and Adam Boeve hit long balls, but they could not match Lehigh Valley.
Indians starter Jason Davis took the loss, giving up eight runs in five innings.
Indianapolis falls to 29-and-33.
