(SEATTLE, WA) - Indiana University officials are in Seattle today to appear before the NCAA Infractions Committee.
They will be trying to avoid further penalties in the wake of alleged rules violations committed by former basketball coach Kelvin Sampson.
The university has already imposed scholarship and recruiting restrictions in the aftermath of the allegations.
Sampson will address the infractions committee on Saturday. His contract was bought out by Indiana University last February.
Sampson has since joined the Milwaukee Bucks as an assistant coach.
