(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Ryan Jorgensen’s three-run double in the seventh inning put Rochester ahead to stay as the Red Wings came from behind to defeat the Indianapolis Indians 9-3.
Alejandro Machado gave the Red Wings some insurance with a three-run triple in the eighth. Neil Walker had put the tribe on top with an RBI double in the first with Craig Wilson following one batter later with a single to drive home walker.
Rochester scored nine unanswered runs before Luis Ordaz' two out single in the ninth drove home the Indians' third run.
Game two of the four-game series is tonight at Victory Field.
