(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indiana Pacers worked out their first six draft prospects in Indianapolis on Wednesday.
With a perceived need at point guard, it was no surprise that four of the players involved were guards. Texas point guard D.J. Augustin was arguably the biggest name to work out on Wednesday, along with North Carolina guard Ty Lawson, Xavier University and Indianapolis product Stanley Burrell, and Ohio State guard Jamar Butler.
Centers Sasha Kaun from Kansas and Nebraska's Aleks Maric also worked out for Pacers' coaches and management.
Today another group of players including North Carolina shooting guard Wayne Ellington, Alabama forward Richard Hendrix, Notre Dame forward Rob Kurz, and Pike High School and Western Kentucky guard Courtney Lee are expected to workout for the Pacers.
Indiana has the 11th and 41st picks in the June 26 draft.
