(INDIANAPOLIS) - Olympic preparations will take Indiana Fever point guard Tully Bevilaqua away from her team next week.
Bevilaqua, who will play for the Australian Olympic women's basketball team, will miss four Fever games between July 22 and July 27, as she travels back to Australia to prepare for the Beijing games.
Bevilaqua has started all 19 games for the 10-and-9 Fever so far this season, averaging 5.7 points and nearly two steals per game.
Teammate Tamika Catchings will also take part in the Olympics, suiting up for the Americans for a second time.
