(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Kevin Melillo drove home the winning run with an RBI double in the sixth as the Syracuse Chiefs edged the Indianapolis Indians.
Syracuse took a 2-0 lead in the first inning on Buck Coats' sixth home run of the season. The Chiefs made it 3-0 in the second before Indianapolis came back.
Brian Bixler hit a sacrifice fly in the second, Matt Kata hit a sacrifice fly in the fourth and Neil Walker tied the game with a single in the fifth.
Syracuse has won two games after dropping the series opener on Friday night. The four-game series wraps up tonight at Victory Field.
