(TERRE HAUTE, IN) - It looks as though the Indianapolis Colts will play this season without second-year defensive tackle Quinn Pitcock.
Pitcock failed to report to training camp last week and had been placed on the team's reserve - did not report list so that he does not count against the Colts' 80-man training camp roster.
Pitcock's agent tells The Indianapolis Star that Pitcock has retired from the NFL. Pitcock reportedly told the Colts of his decision last week, but Head Coach Tony Dungy and Team President Bill Polian were hopeful he would reconsider and have left the door open for his possible return.
