(UNDATED) - Scott Dixon continued his domination of the IndyCar Series and domination at Nashville Superspeedway over the weekend with a rain-shortened win at Nashville.
Dixon won his fourth race of the IndyCar season and third in a row at Nashville when the Firestone Indy 200 was red flagged due to rain with 29 laps to go.
Teammate Dan Wheldon finished second, Helio Castroneves was third, and Tony Kanaan and Danica Patrick were also top five finishers.
Dixon's championship hopes continue to improve after the win. In addition to four wins, Dixon has finished in the top four in nine of the 11 races thus far. He extended his lead in the points standings, now 63 markers ahead of Castroneves and 69 points ahead of Wheldon.
The IndyCar series next heads to Mid-Ohio for Sunday afternoon's Honda Indy 200.
