(COLUMBUS, OH) - The Indianapolis Indians snapped a two-game skid with an 11-2 win over the Columbus Clippers.
The Tribe never trailed, scoring two runs in the top of the first and building a 4-2 lead before blowing the game open in the eighth. Ryan Mulhern had a pinch-hit three-run homer with Andrew McCutchen and Neil Walker adding solo shots as the Indians scored five times in the eighth.
Mulhern stayed in the game and added a two-run single in the ninth to finish with five runs batted in as Indianapolis gained a split of the four-game series.
The Tribe returns home to Victory Field tonight to open a four-game series with the Charlotte Knights.
