(INDIANAPOLIS) - While the Colts are getting ready to begin training camp, the team’s franchise player is at home putting his feet up.
Peyton Manning is at home with his left knee immobilized and elevated as the two time league MVP recovers from knee surgery.
Manning had an infected bursa sac removed from the knee on July 14th. He addressed the media via a conference call on Thursday, saying that he has an IV line in his arm to receive antibiotics and a tube in his left knee draining excess fluid.
Today's practice at Terre Haute will be the first team activity Manning has missed since holding out for five days in 1998 before signing his rookie contract.
