(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana Pacers are not expected to be major players during the free agent negotiating period that began at midnight this morning.
The Pacers could be looking to clear some salary cap room in the wake of some draft night moves that will bring seven new players to Indianapolis.
Indiana has four players who became free agents this morning. Center David Harrison and guard Andre Owens are restricted free agents while guards Flip Murray and Kareem Rush are unrestricted.
Two players who are under contract for next season but whose futures with the Pacers are uncertain are Jamaal Tinsley and Shawne Williams. Both have been involved in off-court incidents and have been the subject of criticism from team President Larry Bird.
