(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - Indiana University quarterback Kellen Lewis has been reinstated to the football team, effective immediately.
The junior was suspended indefinitely for unspecified reasons last March and missed all of spring practice.
Head Coach Bill Lynch says Lewis met all of the benchmarks that were set for his return and that he is happy to welcome the Jacksonville, Florida native back to the fold.
Lewis led the Hoosiers to their first bowl game in 14 years last season and was named second team all-Big Ten.
