(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) - The Purdue men’s basketball team will hold one final practice today before embarking on an exhibition tour in Australia on Wednesday.
The Boilermakers will play five games during the trip facing off against some Australian professional teams and an athletic development center team.
The Boilers will be short at guard during the trip as Keaton Grant is coming off knee surgery and three incoming freshman are not permitted to make the trip. The shortage may force head coach Matt Painter to experiment with a big lineup combining Nemanja Calasan and Jajuan Johnson.
Painter says one of the focuses of the trip will be improved rebounding from the two big men, particularly on the offensive end.
