(FORT MILL, SC) - Brad Eldred tied the game with his 34th home run of the season and won it win an RBI single in the eleventh inning as the Charlotte Knights edged the Indianapolis Indians 5-4.
Neil Walker had a two-run single in the top of the first and the Tribe would lead by as many as three runs before Charlotte came back to tie the game in the sixth.
Ryan Mulhern hit a solo homer for the Indians in the top of the ninth to give Indianapolis a 4-3 lead, setting up Eldred's tying shot in the bottom of the inning.
The Knights have won the first two games of the four-game series which continues tonight at Knights Stadium.
