(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Ross Ohlendorf and Juan Perez combined on a four-hitter as the Indianapolis Indians blanked the Columbus clippers 1-0 to sweep a two-game series at Victory Field.
The lone run of the game came in the bottom of the first when the Tribe's first three batters - Nyjer Morgan, Brian Bixler and Andrew McCutchen singled and Neil Walker followed with a sacrifice fly to score Morgan from third.
Ohlendorf pitched eight innings, allowing four hits and a walk while striking out three to even his record at 3-and-3. Perez pitched a perfect ninth to notch his first save.
The Indians are off today and open a four-game series Friday night against the Durham Bulls.
