(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Saturday’s college football game between Butler and Hanover has been cancelled due to Sunday’s severe storm that hit the Hanover area.
The game will not be rescheduled this season.
The remnants of Hurricane Ike left Hanover without power and water. The game was supposed to be played at the Butler bowl in Indianapolis, but the storm has forced Hanover officials to cancel classes and extracurricular activities this week.
Butler Athletic Director Barry Collier says he spoke to Hanover AD Lynn Hall on Monday morning and the two agreed to cancel the football game.
