(WASHINGTON, DC) - Tamika Catchings scored 15 of her 26 points in the second half as the Indiana Fever came from behind to beat the Washington Mystics 79-68.
Catchings led the Fever back from a 45-37 deficit at halftime, scoring ten points in the third quarter on 4-for-5 shooting. Indiana outscored the Mystics 25-10 in the third.
Katie Douglas and Tan White added 19 points apiece for the Fever, who have won two of three since coming back from the Olympic break. Alana Beard led Washington with 17 points with Nakia Sanford adding 15 as the Mystics dropped their fourth in a row.
With the win, Indiana extends its lead over Chicago for the fourth and final playoff berth in the east to two and-a-half games. Washington is sixth in the eastern conference, four games behind Indiana.
