(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indianapolis Colts fell to 1-and-2 on the season when Jacksonville kicker Josh Scobee knocked in a 51-yard field goal with four seconds remaining to give the Jaguars a 23-21 win at Lucas Oil Stadium.
The Colts appeared to be in a good position after Peyton Manning led the hosts on a 77-yard drive that was capped by a Joseph Addai touchdown run and extra point kick that gave them a 21-20 lead with just 1:07 left. However the Jags moved 47 yards in 1:03, setting up the game winning field goal by Scobee.
Jacksonville had possession of the ball for 26 of the 30 minutes in the second half and gained 236 yards rushing in the contest.
The Colts are off for their bye week and will be at division rival Houston on October 5.
Colts Injury Report
The Colts may have lost another offensive lineman in the loss. Right guard Dan Federkeil left the game with a shoulder injury. He was replaced by rookie Jamie Richard. Center
Jeff Saturday and right tackle Ryan Diem were the only regulars in their spot on the offensive line. Left tackle Tony Ugoh was inactive because of a groin injury and was replaced by Charlie Johnson and rookie Steve Justice filled the left guard spot. Cornerback Marlin Jackson injured his ribs but returned to the game.
Saturday and tight end Dallas Clark were returning from injury to play, however safety Bob Sanders was inactive dealing with a high ankle sprain.
