(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts and the Jacksonville Jaguars face off in an AFC South battle Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Before the season began, this game was thought to be a battle of two of the top teams in the conference. Injuries have tarnished both squads as the Colts are off to a 1-and-1 start while the Jags have dropped their first two games. The Tennessee titans lead the division at 2-and-0 with one of those wins coming against Jacksonville.
Colts Injury Report
Running back Joseph Addai, defensive end Dwight Freeney and defensive back Tim Jennings were back at practice Thursday after taking Wednesday's workout off to rest.
Defensive backs Matt Giordano and Marlon Jackson were added to the injury report on Thursday. Giordano missed Thursday's practice with a back injury while Jackson was limited with a hip injury.
The seven players who sat out Wednesday's practice, including Keyunta Dawson, Bob Sanders, Tony Ugoh and Jacob Tamme, did not practice again on Thursday.
Jaguars Injury Report
Running back Maurice Jones-Drew returned to practice Thursday for the Jaguars. Jones-Drew missed Wednesday's practice with an ankle injury. Jones-Drew was listed as having limited participation in Thursday's workout while the Jags other key running back, Fred Taylor, was back to full participation. Taylor was limited Wednesday with a toe injury.
Linebacker Justin Durant and wide receiver Troy Williamson were the only two Jacksonville players to miss Thursday's practice.
Others who are on the injury list as participating Thursday on a limited basis are center Brad Meester, offensive guard Chris Naeole and wide receiver Jerry Porter.
