(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indianapolis Colts safety Bob Sanders has undergone knee surgery during the team’s bye week.
Sanders, who was already out with a high ankle sprain, underwent arthroscopic knee surgery this week to clean out the knee.
Team owner Jim Irsay told The Indianapolis Star that Sanders was expected to miss more time due to the ankle sprain, so the surgery shouldn't add any extra recovery time.
