(AUBURN HILLS, MI) - The Indiana Fever’s four-game road trip continues tonight at the Palace of Auburn Hills as they face the Detroit Shock.
The trip got off to a successful start on Tuesday when the fever knocked off the Washington Mystics 79-68.
With five games remaining in the regular season, Indiana owns a 14-and-15 record and hold a two and-a-half-game lead over Chicago for the fourth and final playoff berth in the eastern conference. The Shock are second in the east at 17-and-12, a half-game ahead of third place New York.
Detroit won the first two games between the two teams this season, winning at the Palace 76-71 on May 21st and again at Conseco Fieldhouse 74-65 on May 31st.
The Shock have eliminated Indiana from the playoffs each of the past two seasons, recording a two game sweep in the first round in 2006 and eliminating the Fever in three games in the eastern conference semifinals last year.
