(DETROIT) - The 2008 Indiana Fever season ended last night in a playoff loss in Detroit.
The Fever were eliminated in their first round series with an 80-61 loss in the third and deciding game of their series against the Detroit Shock.
Detroit scored the first 12 points and led by as many as 31 points in the first half as Indiana trailed the entire game. Center Tammy Sutton-Brown scored 20 points, Tamika Catchings had 15, and Katie Douglas scored 10, as the Fever turned the ball over 21 times and hit just two-of-17 three-pointers.
It is the third straight year Detroit has knocked Indiana out of the playoffs.
