(ATLANTA, GA) - Tan White scored a game-high 24 points and Tamika Catchings finished with a double-double to lead the Indiana Fever past the Atlanta Dream 81-77.
The duo scored Indiana's final 17 points of the ballgame as the lead see-sawed throughout the fourth quarter. White's short jumper with 28-point-three seconds remaining gave the Fever the lead for good.
Catchings had 20 points and ten rebounds as she hit three of four free throws in the final ten seconds to seal the victory. Tammy Sutton-Brown added 15 points as Indiana pulls to within a game of .500 at 15-and-16. Betty Lennox led Atlanta with 19 points as the Dream fall to 3-and-29.
Indiana's four-game road trip concludes tonight in Minneapolis as they face the Minnesota Lynx. The Fever have won two of three on the trip so far, with their lone defeat coming in Detroit last Friday night.
The season concludes with a pair of home games with the New York Liberty coming to Conseco Fieldhouse on Thursday and the Phoenix Mercury in the season finale on Sunday. After that, the Fever will open a best-of-three playoff series at home on either September 18th or September 19th against a yet-to-be determined opponent.
