(BLOOMINGTON) - Defensive end Greg Middleton will be back in action Saturday when the Indiana Hoosiers host the Murray State Racers Saturday at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington.
Middleton and three reserve players were suspended for disciplinary reasons by Head Coach Bill Lynch before last week's season opener with Western Kentucky. The Hoosiers won that game 31-13.
The four were reinstated by Lynch on Tuesday, but Lynch would not say whether Middleton would return to his position in the starting lineup. Lynch said that Middleton would be part of the rotation at defensive end with Ryan Marando and Jammie Kirlew.
Middleton led the nation in sacks last year with 16.
The suspended players who will return this week are tight end Troy Wagner, safety Brandon Mosley and defensive end Kyle Kozak.
