(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) - The Purdue Boilermakers face a familiar opponent Saturday as they play host the Central Michigan Chippewas.
The Boilers beat Central Michigan twice last season, winning 45-22 last September at Ross-Ade Stadium before nipping the Chippewas 51-48 in last year's Motor City Bowl in Detroit.
Purdue is 1-and-1 following their double-overtime loss to nationally-ranked Oregon last Saturday. Central Michigan is 2-and-1 with their lone defeat coming at number-two Georgia.
