(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts return to the practice field today as they begin preparing for Sunday’s divisional battle with the Houston Texans.
The Colts have had the bye week to rest up after getting off to an uncharacteristically slow start. The horseshoes are 1-and-2, 0-and-2 in their new home - Lucas Oil Stadium.
Sunday's game will be at Houston's Reliant Stadium. Reliant Stadium's retractable roof was damaged by Hurricane Ike last month and the roof will remain open, rain or shine, for the remainder of the season.
The Texans are 0-and-3 including divisional losses to Tennessee and Jacksonville. The Colts and the Texans have met twice a year since the current Houston franchise entered the NFL in 2002.
The Colts have dominated the series, winning eleven of the previous twelve meetings. The Texans' lone win in the series came in the next-to-last game of the 2006 season. It would be the Colts' final loss of that season as they went on to win Super Bowl XLI.
