(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Colts will practice today as they get ready to head to Houston to face the Texans on Sunday.
The Colts are rested and ready following their bye week as they try to recover from a sluggish 1-and-2 start. The Texans are 0-and-3 after starting the season with three-straight road games.
Houston's home opener was originally scheduled to come against the Baltimore Ravens on September 14th, but Hurricane Ike caused damage to Reliant Stadium and forced that game to be postponed. The retractable roof at Reliant Stadium was damaged and Sunday's game will be played with the roof open.
Colts Injury Report
Offensive lineman Dan Federkeil, wide receiver Roy Hall and safety Bob Sanders missed practice again Thursday for the Colts. Sanders is not expected to return for awhile after suffering a high ankle sprain in the win at Minnesota on September 14th and then undergoing an arthroscopic procedure on one of his knees.
Robert Mathis practiced Thursday after taking the day off on Wednesday. Backup defensive back Tim Jennings spent Thursday's workout on the sidelines and was listed as being rested.
Offensive linemen Tony Ugoh and Mike Pollak did practice on Thursday and could return to action Sunday in Houston.
Texans Injury Report
Six Houston Texans sat out practice on Thursday. Linebacker Xavier Adibi was added to the list yesterday as he sat due to illness. Linebackers Demeco Ryans and Kevin Bentley, former Indiana University running back Chris Taylor, safety Will Demps and tight end Mark Bruener have missed both days of practice due to injury.
Houston expects to have running back Ahman Green back for Sunday's game. Green had missed the last two games with an ankle injury and will back up rookie Steve Slaton.
